About the role

• Backend Developer designing and building full-stack applications at Cambium Networks. Working with Node.js, Express, and cloud-native architectures while ensuring quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using:
• Node.js + Express (OR) Golang
• Having Angular or React is good
• MongoDB or similar NoSQL dB experience is good.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with appropriate unit tests.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Analyze data and application behavior to improve performance and reliability.
• Debug production issues and provide long-term fixes.
• Use AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) for coding, testing, code reviews, and problem-solving—while ensuring correctness and security.
• Optional: Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using Angular.
• Ownership mindset and accountability and collaboration.
• Focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
• Strong backend experience with:
• Node.js + Express (OR) Golang frameworks (AND) Python
• Experience in designing and building scalable, high-availability applications.
• Experience with cloud-native or microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as:
• EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS (or similar)
• Solid understanding of:
• REST APIs
• Authentication & authorization
• Error handling & logging
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Mocha, Jest, or equivalent).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and data-driven thinking.
• Experience using AI tools as part of the software development lifecycle (No Blind trust in AI-generated code).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Optional: Strong frontend experience with Angular (components, services, routing).
