Data Engineer providing support for IBM DataStage ETL jobs at Callibrity. Collaborating with stakeholders and working to modernize technology solutions in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
Provide hands-on support and enhancement of IBM DataStage ETL jobs
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance in a regulated environment
Reverse-engineer and document complex transformation logic
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in deposit insurance calculations
Implement fixes and minor enhancements with audit traceability in mind
Partner with business stakeholders to explain data flows and outputs
Collaborate in an Agile team environment with product and engineering leadership
Contribute to a modernization roadmap transitioning to DBT and Snowflake
Requirements
3–5+ years hands-on IBM DataStage experience
Strong SQL skills (DB2 preferred)
Experience supporting production ETL systems
Ability to understand and refactor legacy transformation logic
Experience working in Agile environments
Strong communication skills and ability to interface with stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Financial services or banking experience
Exposure to regulatory or audit-driven data environments
Familiarity with Snowflake, DBT, or modernization initiatives
