Responsibilities

  • Function as a technical specialist
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals on projects of high complexity
  • Provide guidance and direction on department design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, and Black and Veatch policies
  • Prepares a variety of complex engineering deliverables for larger or multiple projects
  • Actively coordinates with all other internal/external team members on moderately complex projects
  • Develops and applies advanced engineering concepts and approaches to unique engineering problems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • PE License: Registered in Florida
  • 5 years of experience in: Water resources, natural channel design, fluvial geomorphology, ecological restoration, watershed management
