About the role
- Software Engineer for a fast-growing French tech scale-up. Involved in developing solutions in AI, data, and software engineering with a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Execute projects as part of a team, mentored by experienced engineers
- Contribute to the design of solutions that meet user and client needs
- Develop backend and/or frontend features according to your interests
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality
- Take part in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives…) in coordination with product teams and sometimes the client
- Continuously strive to improve technically and enhance the tools and methods in use
- Contribute to cross-functional internal projects: operations, security, training, and process improvements
- Gradually learn best practices in architecture, testing, and production/industrialization
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) / engineering degree in computer science or equivalent training
- 1 to 5 years of professional or substantial experience (including long internships or apprenticeships)
- Experience with at least one backend or full-stack language (Java, Kotlin, Python, PHP, TypeScript…)
- Good understanding of how the Web works
- Experience with a frontend framework (React, Angular…) and/or a backend framework (Spring, Symfony, Nest, FastAPI…)
- Use of Git and continuous integration tools
- Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Initial experience with Docker
