About the role
- Technical Buyer specializing in turnkey new construction for residential projects. Responsible for procurement, supplier management, and cost optimization in the construction sector.
Responsibilities
- Procurement of building materials, subcontractor services, and other services for residential construction projects
- Selection, evaluation, and acquisition of new suppliers and subcontractors to optimize quality and cost
- Leading negotiations and concluding framework agreements with subcontractors
- Conducting market analyses to monitor price developments in the construction sector
- Ensuring timely material availability and supporting construction logistics
- Optimizing procurement processes in close cooperation with estimating, site management, and technical teams
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in technical procurement, ideally in residential construction or the building industry
- Solid knowledge of supplier management and technical understanding of construction materials and building processes
- Strong organizational skills, cost awareness, and negotiation ability
- Team player with an independent and committed working style
- Experience with cost estimating software (e.g., RIB iTWO, BRZ) and MS Office
