Senior Communication Manager / Data Analyst responsible for data management and communication strategies at Bundesdruckerei. Analyzing communication data and supporting organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Build comprehensive data management for the newsroom (topic-focused work), including support for strategic topic planning
Analyze and evaluate communications data and develop benchmarks and actionable recommendations
Establish a common terminology and define metrics to enable comparisons across campaigns, initiatives and topics
Apply analytical tools for key communication channels and build and maintain a central data dashboard
Use social listening tools to anticipate emerging trends and topics (agenda listening) and integrate them into the newsroom’s work
Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders
Advise on measures and the orientation of future activities, thereby influencing the communications strategy
Manage external agencies and service providers in the field of communications controlling
Requirements
Degree in Business Informatics, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications/Media Studies, Media Studies/Journalism, Business Administration, Political Science or a comparable field
Relevant professional experience in agencies or companies with experience in building data-driven communications controlling as well as in data analysis and data management
Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Google Analytics, eTracker, YouScan, etc.) and with data evaluation methods, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and the OKR framework
Ability to extract complex relationships from datasets and present them succinctly through visualization
Independent, self-organized and reliable working style, with a systematic-methodical approach and a results- and goal-oriented mindset
Operational decision-making, assertiveness and implementation skills in change processes, as well as a confident demeanor and experience collaborating across different hierarchical levels
Initiative, motivation, customer- and service-orientation, strong communication and interpersonal skills (German language skills at least C1 level), and the ability to cooperate and work as part of a team
