About the role
- Lead Software Engineer on BFF backend team at Bumble, developing scalable TypeScript/Golang services and collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in backend development
- Experience acting in a lead role contributing to architecture, design, and mentorship
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript or Go
- Experience building and maintaining GraphQL APIs
- Experience with SQL and noSQL databases (e.g., Redis, DynamoDB)
- Expertise in implementing thorough testing strategies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
- Experience working through the entire product development lifecycle from inception to development and delivery
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication abilities and experience working in cross-functional teams
