About the role

• Operational Risk professional managing risks in fintech operations at mylo. Supporting risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for operational processes and third-party relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across products, processes, systems, and third-party relationships
• Maintain and update Risk & Control Assessments for operations
• Support development and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
• Track and report operational risk incidents, losses, and near misses
• Evaluate effectiveness of operational controls and recommend improvements
• Support implementation of risk mitigation actions in collaboration with Ops, Product, Tech, and Compliance teams
• Assist in reviewing SOPs, workflows, and process changes from a risk perspective
• Prepare regular operational risk reports for management and governance forums
• Support regulatory, internal audit, and external audit requests related to operational risk
• Ensure alignment with internal risk frameworks, policies, and regulatory expectations
• Assess risks related to digital products, payments, wallets, APIs, and automation
• Monitor third-party and vendor operational risks
• Support business continuity, incident response, and operational resilience initiatives

Requirements

• Age range: Typically 25–30 years (or equivalent professional experience)
• 1–3 years of experience in:
• Operational Risk
• Risk Management
• Internal Controls
• Audit or Compliance
• Experience within Fintech, Digital Banking, or Traditional Banking environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
