About the role

  • Associate Director responsible for overseeing IT Service Governance and Risk Management in a banking environment. Leading a team to ensure operational resilience and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving excellence and managing risk across IT Service Governance, Information Security Governance, and Business Resilience
  • Ensure governance frameworks, risk controls, compliance measures, and resilience strategies are integrated and aligned with the Bank’s objectives
  • Lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, and improving governance processes
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, constructive challenge, collaboration, and outcome focus
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and guidance
  • Optimise IT Service Management and Agile Project Delivery tools
  • Drive improvements in processes, technology, and service delivery
  • Support the development of policies, contracts, and controls that reduce risk and enhance efficiency

  • Coordinating audit and compliance activities across technology and information security
  • Overseeing the development and testing of contingency plans for critical processes
  • Experience optimising workflows in tools such as Jira and Confluence
