About the role

  • Full-Stack Developer at Breakthrough Academy enhancing internal systems for the trades industry. Work includes system design, development, and collaboration across operational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, building, and maintaining Breakthrough Academy’s’s core systems, including the Member Management System, learning management system (LMS), and CRM
  • Working in applications built on .NET Core (backend) and React (frontend), managing feature development, deployment, and ongoing support
  • Customizing and optimizing the CRM to automate workflows, create reporting dashboards, and support operational and coaching teams
  • Building and maintaining integrations between CRM, LMS, scheduling tools, reporting platforms, and other internal systems
  • Collaborating with Operations, Member Success, and Coaching teams to gather requirements and translate them into system improvements
  • Troubleshooting issues across internal platforms, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions quickly
  • Documenting system architecture, workflows, integrations, and technical processes to ensure clarity for the team and future enhancements
  • Working with external vendors or contractors to implement or integrate specialized tools
  • Supporting internal teams by creating dashboards, automated reports, and operational tools that improve efficiency and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working with internal systems and tooling, including CRM platforms, LMS, and operational software
  • Strong knowledge of .NET Core and React, and experience maintaining and enhancing production systems
  • Proven ability to customize and optimize CRMs, including workflows, automations, and reporting, to support operational and coaching teams
  • Experience building and maintaining integrations between internal platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and accurate reporting
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes efficiently
  • Comfortable documenting system processes, workflows, and integrations for team clarity and future enhancements
  • Experience collaborating with multiple teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Familiarity working with external vendors or contractors to implement or support specialized system projects
  • Ability to create dashboards, automated reports, and internal tools that improve efficiency and decision making.
