Responsibilities
Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous evaluation of programs to ensure they meet the needs of clients, adhere to professional standards, and comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Monitor program effectiveness and adjust as necessary to improve client outcomes and program efficiency.
Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and support to therapists, counselors, and other clinical staff.
Responsible for staff supervision, training, hiring, discipline, and termination of staff.
Facilitate regular staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops to ensure staff are well-trained and up to date with the latest clinical practices and standards.
Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and program activities according to compliance and accreditation standards.
Prepare reports on program statistics, outcomes, and strategic developments for senior management and external agencies as required.
Provide leadership and support in crisis situations, ensuring appropriate responses and managing follow-up care.
Supervise the schedule of groups and other patient activities to ensure adequate staffing to meet patient needs and assigns therapists and counselors caseloads.
Coordinate with Corporate Management Team and Risk Manager/Performance Improvement staff to prepare for audits and maintain accreditation standards.
Represent the organization in community and professional settings, enhancing the organization’s profile and building partnerships.
Communicate with healthcare providers, referral sources, and other stakeholders to promote the program and ensure a continuum of care for clients.
Propose and implement innovative practices and techniques to enhance the effectiveness of patient service delivery.
Maintain availability for On Call after hours to provide consultation and support to staff as needed.
Attend professional workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure.
Adhere to ethical standards as outlined by national and state professional boards.
Maintain confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA and other relevant laws including 42 CFR Part 2.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required.
Current licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent in the state of practice.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
If recovering, two years of continuous verifiable sobriety.
4 years of eating disorder treatment experience preferred.
Certification in eating disorder treatment modalities preferred.
1-2 years of previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
