About the role
- Contract Manager providing procurement support in a hybrid role with IT contract management responsibilities. Located in Towson, MD, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Provide procurement support efforts to achieve reliable, cost-efficient and timely goods and services
- Assist in coordination with County Procurement and County Legal
- Initiate, develop and implement Information Technology related contracts
- Interface with various levels of personnel and management as well as with external vendors and contractors
- Prepare requests for proposals and administer the contracts until performance is completed
- Perform all steps of the procurement process such as kick-off and pre-proposal meetings, review of documents, tracking approvals
- Monitor all financial aspects of assigned contracts (e.g. monitoring funding, burn rate, and expenditures)
- Maintain schedules/calendars for the Contract Office in preparation
Requirements

- 9 months of experience with potential for extensions
