Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily execution of assigned tasks and projects within a moderately large or complex program
- Ensuring all activities are completed in alignment with contractual obligations, policies, procedures, and standards
- Managing operations to ensure schedules and quality standards are met
- Organizing project and task workloads and selecting qualified individuals for specific projects
- Contributing to the client relationship
- Working closely with Engineering to manage a development program or project
- Participating as a team member or leader on bid and proposal activities
- Ensuring compliance with requirements in preparing and documenting bids and proposals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business related field
- 7+ years functional or program management experience and a minimum of 3 years leadership experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training
- Experience leading projects from initiation through closure
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc)
- Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
- Program Management certification preferred (i.e. PMP or DAU)
- U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain DOD security clearance
