About the role

  • Join a creative publishing company as a PR & Community Manager. Enhance visibility and engage with media and fans in a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • You will help us increase the visibility of our entire program — with a particular focus on our new games section.
  • You bring creative ideas for storytelling, press relations, and sending review copies and promotional items to media outlets and multipliers.
  • Together with the games team and other colleagues, you act as the link to journalists, bloggers and fans.
  • You maintain contacts, develop leads and ensure that initial contacts become real, sustainable relationships.
  • You help structure, maintain and expand our contacts — from the first encounter to long-term collaboration.
  • You assist in preparing and sending press releases, newsletters and press materials — and respond quickly and creatively to press enquiries.
  • You serve as the interface to external PR agencies that manage our lead titles and ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • With us you will get to know all program areas and have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas.

Requirements

  • A completed university degree or vocational training, ideally with a focus on communications
  • Initial experience in PR, social media, journalism or communications (e.g., through internships, working-student positions or personal projects)
  • A passion for books, games and storytelling — and a willingness to explore new approaches
  • Enjoy networking, organizing and communicating — both online and offline
  • Self-initiative, creativity and team spirit
  • Excellent written and spoken German
  • Proficiency with common Office programs (Microsoft 365, Teams)

Benefits

  • Responsibility and room for development from day one
  • The chance to actively shape and optimize processes
  • A creative, supportive team and an experienced mentor at your side
  • The opportunity to propose and implement your own ideas
  • Flexible working hours within our flexitime model
  • We share know-how and experiences in regular events under the motto arsWissen
  • We identify suitable, individual training opportunities for all employees
  • We support families with tax-free subsidies for childcare costs
  • We subsidize the Deutschlandticket Job
