About the role

  • Digital Marketing Manager responsible for creative campaign management across digital platforms for Ullstein Buchverlage. Overseeing social media strategies, newsletter management, and performance marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Creative concept development, planning, coordination and hands-on execution of campaigns across all digital platforms (including social media, email, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads).
  • Website management in various CMSs: from relaunches to content marketing.
  • Creation, distribution and analysis of newsletters via Salesforce, as well as optimization of email marketing.
  • Further development of social media strategies in collaboration with the online team.
  • Analysis, planning and growth of online communities across various social media platforms.
  • Management of and communication with external vendors, including budget responsibility and oversight.
  • Analysis, processing and use of data for campaign optimization.
  • Performance marketing

Requirements

  • University degree in media management, marketing, literary studies or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in digital marketing; ideally within a publishing house or the book industry.
  • A good sense for marketing trends and developments, as well as excellent technical understanding.
  • Experience with Salesforce (Marketing & Sales Cloud), AMS, and common graphics tools (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.).
  • Fluent German language skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a strong command of language.
  • Confident user of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and MS Teams.
