About the role
- Modeling and Simulation Engineer developing and implementing solutions for Boeing's aircraft production process. Collaborating with engineering teams on multiple projects and technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and design for software systems, automated hardware systems, and industrial robotics
- Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Perform engineer activities including development, integration, and testing of automated hardware systems
- Influence, innovate and continuously improve the engineering processes as well as the quality, safety and reliability of our products and services
- Collaborate proactively with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand operational and performance expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years of industry experience in aerospace or large-scale manufacturing
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript preferred)
