About the role

  • Oversee complex expense-related activities for funds with intricate portfolio assets, including invoice payments, budgeting, and expense ratio reporting.
  • Prepare fund expense budgets and contribute to financial planning processes.
  • Handle complex general ledger entries as needed to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Prepare fund expense invoices and track payments to ensure timely and accurate client billing.
  • Conduct analysis comparing fund budgeted expenses to actual expenses and provide insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in fund accounting, expense management, or financial operations within the asset management industry.
  • Strong understanding of expense management, budgeting, and general ledger systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
  • Experience working with complex fund structures and portfolio assets.
