About the role

  • Masterarbeit zur Unterstützung der HV-Sensepfad-Entwicklung bei BMW Group. Mitarbeit an der Auslegung, dem Design, und KI-gestützten Automatisierung von Schaltkreisen.

Responsibilities

  • You will support the implementation of the HV sensing path (cell voltage & temperature) for the high-voltage battery using a flexible printed circuit (FPC).
  • You will also participate in the specification and design of the FPCs.
  • In addition, you will assist in developing and implementing an AI-based algorithm to automate FPC layout in Altium Designer.
  • You will contribute in a coordinated way to the testing and validation of the developed solutions.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge in electronic circuit development and PCB design.
  • Prior experience in developing AI tools.
  • Experience with Altium Designer or comparable eCAD systems is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of battery technology and battery management systems (BMS).
  • Teamwork skills and self-motivation.
  • Enthusiasm for innovative technologies and electric mobility.
