Responsibilities
- Lead work winning and business development, proactively identifying new opportunities, shaping early conversations, driving pre-positioning activities and leading bids, proposals and commercial strategies that convert pipeline into secured work.
- Manage and grow key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor who maintains regular engagement, anticipates client needs and ensures high client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Act as a visible representative of the business in the market, nurturing networks across industry and government, attending events, contributing to partnerships and increasing the organisation’s presence in target sectors.
- Collaborate with Program Managers and technical colleagues to position the right capability for opportunities, develop winning strategies and ensure proposals are competitive, accurate and compelling.
- Provide senior-level technical oversight where needed, ensuring projects are scoped appropriately, technical risks are considered early and work is delivered to a high standard.
- Support and mentor others in technical and commercial areas, technically guiding engineers and designers/drafters and sharing commercial awareness and strengthening work winning literacy across the team.

- You have a relevant engineering degree and professional registration (or eligibility), with approximately 15+ years’ experience in consulting, engineering or asset-intensive industries.
