About the role
- Support Engineer assisting clients with Blue Yonder’s solutions. Focused on machine learning, data mining, and data integrity for customer success.
Responsibilities
- Onboard clients onto Blue Yonder’s Luminate Planning suite of solutions
- Provide ongoing support through Data Science as a Service (DSaaS)
- Select, build, and optimize classifiers using advanced machine learning techniques
- Conduct data mining using cutting-edge methods and tools
- Integrate third-party data sources to enhance the company’s datasets when necessary
- Refine data collection procedures to ensure relevant data for analytic systems
- Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results clearly to stakeholders
- Address customer concerns regarding forecasting issues and data quality, and build utilities to perform forecasting checks
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., Linear Regression, K-Means Clustering, Naive Bayes)
- Proficiency in data science toolkits such as Python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn (expertise in at least two is required)
- Experience in supply chain concepts and statistical analysis
- Knowledge of operations research concepts, including integer, linear, and stochastic programming
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Streamlit and Power BI
- Proficiency in query languages such as SQL and Snowflake, or Python-based SQL wrappers
- Solid grounding in applied statistics, including distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis
