About the role

  • Vice President / Principal managing private wealth relationships at Blue Owl, focusing on RIA strategic accounts and fundraising initiatives. Leading communication and engagement with key client stakeholders across investment platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with private wealth platforms, specially with custodians, and digital investment platforms, while proactively building new connections across multiple organizational levels
  • Lead onboarding of new products, selling agreements, and platform documentation to ensure seamless integration and compliance
  • Maintain deep expertise in partner platforms, manager evaluation processes, firm initiatives, and emerging investment trends
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Blue Owl’s investment strategies and solutions, including financial and structural aspects
  • Educate advisory teams and key stakeholders on Blue Owl’s alternative investment offerings, ensuring clarity and alignment with client objectives
  • Drive strategic marketing initiatives by contributing to plan development, identifying growth opportunities, and tracking measurable outcomes
  • Serve as the primary internal liaison for cross-functional coordination among Sales, Product, Legal, and Operations teams
  • Monitor platform developments and industry dynamics, communicating actionable insights to internal stakeholders
  • Represent Blue Owl at partner meetings and industry events to reinforce the firm’s presence and thought leadership
  • Travel as needed to support platform relationships and enhance firm visibility

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in investment management
  • Candidates may have alternative experience; however, it is essential that they have covered custodians
  • Proven ability to communicate and present effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of Blue Owl’s investment strategy, differentiators, and competitive positioning
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines and fundraising goals
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in a team-oriented sales environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required
  • Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent)
