- Lead AI Engineer designing, building, and operationalizing AI and ML solutions for a renewable energy firm. Collaborating across teams and driving technical directions for AI initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Senior technical expert responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions that deliver measurable business impact across Blattner’s portfolio of projects.
- Actively supports the occupational development of HSE team by managing the SMART goal and performance management processes.
- Serves as both architect and builder, setting technical standards for AI/ML development, MLOps, and integration with enterprise IT systems.
- Partners closely with business leaders, IT, and data stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions from concept through adoption.
- Drives the technical direction of AI initiatives spanning generative AI, predictive analytics, and optimization use cases.
- Mentors technical talent, establishes best practices, and ensures AI systems advance operational efficiency, forecast accuracy, and risk reduction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 8 or more years of applicable professional experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or related fields.
- Hands-on expertise in developing, deploying, and scaling AI/ML models in production environments (e.g., preference for Azure AI ecosystem).
- Proven ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
