About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead AI Platform development team, delivering shared AI/ML services, infrastructure and tooling
- Partner with Lead Architect to define and execute the vision for the AI Platform as well as Agent and Tool Support
- Deliver standardized, self‑service platform capabilities aligned with security, risk and compliance expectations
- Contribute to the Platform Architecture function, defining reference architectures, standards and guardrails
- Partner with data, cloud, security, risk and application teams to ensure platform alignment and control
- Establish engineering standards for reliability, resilience, observability and controlled change
- Build, develop, and retain high‑performing engineering talent.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, with strong command of Python, C#, Typescript and relevant technologies
- Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring teams of software engineers and technical professionals
- Strong technical background in cloud native architectures (AWS + Azure), distributed systems, and shared services
- Deep understanding of software development principles, architecture, and best practices
- Demonstrated product mindset for internal platforms and developer enablement
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging and influencing senior executives and business stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate through ambiguity and drive results
- Experience in the financial services industry or related field is preferred
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
