About the role

• Quality Assurance / Software Tester responsible for testing and support at leading security software company. Collaborating with development and managing complex customer inquiries in a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• In Quality Assurance / Software Testing, you are responsible for designing, creating and executing manual and automated software tests.
• This includes documenting and tracking defects and closely coordinating with development.
• You are also responsible for the ongoing development of test plans, test cases and QA processes.
• Supporting release preparation and conducting acceptance tests are also part of your responsibilities.
• Additionally, you work in 2nd and 3rd level support, analyzing and handling more complex customer inquiries and error reports.
• You also reproduce problem cases, document them accordingly and manage communication with development.
• You support our 1st-level hotline when technical inquiries are escalated.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in IT systems management, digitalization management, as an industrial clerk or office administrator with an affinity for IT.
• Experience as a software tester and/or in IT support, ideally in a B2B environment.
• Strong technical comprehension and an interest in complex systems.
• Confident use of ticketing systems, ideally also with test management tools or platforms such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Good German language skills, written and spoken — additional languages, especially English, are an advantage.
