About the role

• Quality Assurance / Software Testing role in a leading software company for the security sector. Involved in software tests, support, and communication with developers.

Responsibilities

• In the area of Quality Assurance / Software Testing, you are responsible for designing, creating and executing manual and automated software tests.
• This includes documenting and tracking defects and closely coordinating with the development team.
• You are also responsible for the further development of test plans, test cases and QA processes.
• Supporting the preparation of releases and conducting acceptance tests is also part of your responsibilities.
• Additionally, you will work in 2nd & 3rd level support, analyzing and handling more complex customer inquiries and error reports.
• You will reproduce problem scenarios, document them accordingly and take over communication with development.
• You will support our 1st-level hotline when escalating technical requests.

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT systems management clerk, digitalization management clerk, industrial clerk or office clerk with an IT affinity.
• Experience as a software tester and/or in IT support, ideally in a B2B environment.
• Good technical comprehension and interest in complex systems.
• Confident use of ticketing systems, ideally also with test management tools or platforms such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Good written and spoken German - additional languages, particularly English, are an advantage.
