Responsibilities
- Conduct manual tests to ensure the software created by developers fits its purpose
- Perform database testing to ensure the quality of software products
- Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in testing services
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, techniques, and tools
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and techniques
- Expertise in database management systems, SQL, and data manipulation languages
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience in automation testing is a plus
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Understanding of ETL processes
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark
