About the role
- Azure + Terraform Engineer focusing on automating Azure infrastructure management using Terraform and CI/CD. Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure without manual resource creation.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring zero manual intervention.
- Manage Azure resources including Virtual Machines (Windows & Linux), Resource Groups, Azure Networking, Azure Firewall, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD Windows 10/11), Host pool creation, deletion, and lifecycle management.
- Implement and manage Azure Application Gateway (added advantage).
- Handle SSL certificate renewal for Azure Application Gateway using Terraform.
- Work closely with Application, Database, and Infrastructure teams to gather requirements and deploy infrastructure using Terraform code.
- Build, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
- Use Azure DevOps for Terraform pipeline execution; familiarity with GitLab is an added advantage.
- Ensure infrastructure is version-controlled, auditable, and compliant using Git + Terraform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Azure and Terraform-related issues.
- Interact with customers and Microsoft support for Azure-related incidents and escalations.

- 6-9 Years Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Azure infrastructure
- Deep understanding of Azure architecture and services
- Proven experience managing infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines
- Solid knowledge of Git-based workflows for infrastructure management
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to work with customers, Microsoft, and internal teams
- Ability to work collaboratively across APP / DB / Infra teams.
