About the role
- Business Operations Intern contributing to digital infrastructure at Biogen's West Coast Hub. Involves data analysis, process mapping, and project management to support clinical operations.
Responsibilities
- Work at the intersection of pharmaceutical development and technological innovation
- Help build the digital infrastructure for clinical teams
- Own end-to-end projects requiring data analysis, process mapping, and collaboration
- Gain a deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle
- Provide exposure to clinical operations, data workflow optimization, and webpage development
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PHD in a relevant field such as: Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems Health Informatics Biology, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences Engineering (Biomedical, Systems, or Industrial Engineering)
- Coursework or prior project experience in data analysis, process improvement, technical tools, or operations is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare research environment is a plus but not required.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship.
