About the role
- Senior Software Engineer developing backend services and applications for Clario’s unified cloud platform. Collaborating with various teams to build scalable, high-performance systems supporting global clinical trials.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and applications using C#/.NET
- Build, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs and SQL Server performance
- Contribute to front‑end components with Angular where applicable
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD workflows, and high‑quality engineering standards
- Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and architecture groups
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root‑cause resolution
- Influence system architecture and propose pragmatic, high‑impact improvements
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the team
- Document designs, decisions, and operational runbooks for clarity and continuity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering enterprise‑grade solutions
- Strong professional experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem
- Hands‑on experience developing SPAs with Angular (or another modern TypeScript framework)
- Solid understanding of object‑oriented design, modular architectures, and scalable backend services
- Experience influencing technical direction and guiding engineering outcomes
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Based in or able to work from Hungary (remote/hybrid options available)
