About the role
- Prüftechniker:in für elektrotechnische Geräte und Anlagen verantwortlich für die Prüfung nach DIN VDE. Eigenverantwortliche Planung und Durchführung der Prüfungen an verschiedenen Standorten in Deutschland.
Responsibilities
- Inspect all electrical equipment at the legally required intervals and within applicable deadlines using the prescribed procedures of DIN VDE 0701-0702
- Operate existing and approved testing equipment
- Prepare reports for measurements
- Independently correct rectifiable defects or faults on equipment and systems
- Track and ensure rectification of defects performed by third parties
- Decommission equipment that does not comply with regulations or coordinate the course of action with the responsible persons
- Independently plan inspections and arrange appointments
- Transfer knowledge of testing procedures during training processes to apprentices and continuing-education participants
- Inspect fixed installations on company-owned properties where present
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in an industrial electrical occupation
- Trained electrical specialist (EFK) for testing electrical devices according to DIN EN 50678 (VDE 0701) / DIN VDE 0701–0702 and DGUV Regulation 3
- Trainer qualification (can be obtained alongside employment)
- Willingness to travel
