About the role

  • Bilanzbuchhalter managing financial records, preparing financial statements for an international recycling company. Collaborating with auditors and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements under HGB and IFRS
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations
  • Prepare for and support external audits by auditors
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations in coordination with tax advisors
  • Contribute to the development of planning and control metrics and an internal control system
  • Serve as the professional point of contact for employees, group companies and the parent company

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration (Bachelor) or certified Financial Accountant (IHK)
  • 3 years of professional experience in accounting in an industrial company or as an audit assistant in public accounting
  • Good knowledge of HGB and basic knowledge of IFRS
  • Independent and reliable working style
  • Excellent German and good English skills
  • Confident user of common Microsoft Office applications
