About the role

  • Economic Game Designer responsible for creating and balancing game economies at Behaviour Interactive. Collaborating with teams to ensure player engagement and monetization strategies are effective.

Responsibilities

  • Define the monetization strategy with the development team and design an economic model that delivers value to players.
  • Balance virtual products, player progression, currencies, sinks and sources.
  • Analyze metrics and recommend improvements to the development and live operations teams.
  • Propose enhancements to gameplay loops.
  • Create economy-related design documents aimed at improving acquisition, retention, and monetization.

Requirements

  • Experience contributing to at least one successful live game.
  • Strong ability to balance complex game economy systems and familiarity with Agile production.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for simulations and predictive calculations (analytical skills and data modeling).
  • Ongoing analysis of current strategies and the ability to propose new approaches to optimize and maximize game revenue.
  • Experience supporting soft launches and live operations, with a solid understanding of monetization, retention, and virality drivers.
