Responsibilities
Define the monetization strategy with the development team and design an economic model that delivers value to players.
Balance virtual products, player progression, currencies, sinks and sources.
Analyze metrics and recommend improvements to the development and live operations teams.
Propose enhancements to gameplay loops.
Create economy-related design documents aimed at improving acquisition, retention, and monetization.
Requirements
Experience contributing to at least one successful live game.
Strong ability to balance complex game economy systems and familiarity with Agile production.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for simulations and predictive calculations (analytical skills and data modeling).
Ongoing analysis of current strategies and the ability to propose new approaches to optimize and maximize game revenue.
Experience supporting soft launches and live operations, with a solid understanding of monetization, retention, and virality drivers.
