About the role

  • Driving top strategic projects, including acquisitions and market entry for BetterUp's Office of the CEO. Collaborating with executive leadership to deliver strategic insights and measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the top Office of the CEO strategic projects. Historical projects include:
  • Support due diligence for partnerships with luminaries such as Brené Brown, Adam Grant, Pau Gasol, and Shaun White.
  • Conduct research and analysis for BetterUp's European market entry strategy.
  • Build financial models and analyses for BetterUp's 5-year growth plan for the Board of Directors.
  • Analyze pricing and packaging in partnership with a third-party consulting firm.
  • Support annual planning and the company OKR process.
  • Contribute to the Davos activation, fostering connections between BetterUp's CEO and Fortune 100 CXOs.
  • Conduct research and analysis for cross-selling partnerships.
  • Support acquisition due diligence on U.S. and European acquisition targets.
  • Contribute to post-merger integrations.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a high-growth scale-up environment or investment banking.
  • Strategic and Analytical Excellence: You combine creative problem-solving with a structured, analytical approach to business challenges and are adept at developing actionable insights that inform strategy.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work across organizational levels, building relationships with senior executives and cross-functional partners to drive alignment and deliver results.
  • Execution Mastery: You have a knack for juggling multiple high-priority initiatives while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and organization.
  • Agility and Resilience: Thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where priorities can shift rapidly, and you remain steadfast in driving impact.
  • Scrappiness: Someone who gets excited about rolling up their sleeves and doing whatever it takes to deliver. You do not hesitate to get involved, from strategic work to the tactical (sometimes thankless) work.
  • Strong interest in organizational behavior, positive psychology, coaching, or behavioral sciences—we geek out over this stuff, daily!
