Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Looker models to meet business requirements
- Analyze and optimize the performance of Looker models for efficiency
- Design and build interactive Looker dashboards to support business decision-making
- Provide subject matter expertise and support to BI teams, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of analysis
- Collaborate proactively with other BI teams and influence BI team’s strategy and priorities
- Support and train junior analysts, fostering an environment of growth and learning
- Engage in complex and high-priority projects that shape business direction
- Liaise with stakeholders across the business to ensure BI tools and processes align with strategic goals
- Promote the production of reusable code and modules to streamline efforts and reduce development costs
- Identify opportunities to improve processes across the BI platform, working closely with teams and subject matter experts
Requirements
- Strong understanding of visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Proficient in SQL with the ability to write complex queries
- Experience in data structure and supporting teams with data issues
- Proven track record in proactively driving strategy and change within BI
- Strong collaboration skills, working with Head of Departments and Senior Managers to ensure BI success
