About the role
- z/OS System Engineer supporting diverse mainframe products and improving the IT infrastructure. Working in a dynamic team environment with a focus on IT system administration.
Responsibilities
- Operation, administration and further development of a mainframe IT infrastructure (hardware, software)
- Collaboration within a dynamic, high-performance team
- Get to know the variety of IT systems and products to be supported and, after an onboarding period, take over their administration
- Work with colleagues on the interfaces to the distributed IT environment
Requirements
- A completed technical university degree or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in z/OS system administration
- Enthusiasm and passion for administering and optimizing IT systems
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with and learn unfamiliar IT products
