About the role
- Business Analyst focused on developing data products for the Buying team at Bergzeit. Engaging with various stakeholders and ensuring data quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Continuous development and expansion of data products in the Buying area, with a focus on Power BI
- Analytical first-level support for ad-hoc analyses within the Buying team
- Interaction with key users, business leads and subject matter experts
- Supporting the central data team in maintaining high data quality standards
- Acting as a liaison between the business unit and the central data team
- Translating business requirements into data model definitions
- Sharing analytical know-how with business leads and key users
Requirements
- Degree or vocational qualification in a data-related field or equivalent qualification
- At least 1.5 years of relevant professional experience in an analyst-adjacent role
- Proficient in translating complex business processes into well-designed data models
- Strong analytical skills and experience conducting complex data analyses in Excel, Power BI and SQL
- Confident knowledge of SQL
- Solid understanding of retail e-commerce processes, particularly product/item-related processes
- Team player with strong communication skills; comfortable taking a hands-on approach in cross-functional teams
- Motivated to pursue continuous professional development in the data field
- Good German and English language skills (German at C1 level)
