About the role

  • Procurement employee managing supply of materials for production in a growth-oriented company. Overseeing supplier performance and handling supplier negotiations in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all procurement-related tasks to acquire the materials required for our production and internal needs
  • Monitor supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead times) and resolve performance issues
  • Handle complaints, returns and outsourced manufacturing
  • Select suitable suppliers
  • Negotiate prices and commercial terms
  • Continuously prepare and maintain master data in our inventory/ERP system

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training
  • Professional experience in operational purchasing or a comparable role
  • Enjoy working in a motivated team, strong organizational skills and a high level of problem-solving ability
  • Negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • Independent, responsible and structured way of working
  • Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Good written and spoken German and English
