About the role
- VBA Developer automating Excel-based tasks for Benchmark Gensuite. Collaborating with teams to create efficient data processing and reporting workflows in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement VBA macros and applications to automate various Excel-based tasks, such as data entry, data extraction, data formatting, and report generation
- Design and build custom Excel solutions to streamline data processing, analysis, and reporting workflows
- Troubleshoot and debug existing VBA code to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Excel-based solutions
- Provide training and support to end-users on the usage and maintenance of the developed VBA applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Excel VBA programming and data manipulation techniques
- Continuously improve and enhance the existing VBA applications based on user feedback and changing business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in VBA programming and Excel automation
- Proficient in writing and debugging VBA code, including the use of macros, user-defined functions, and custom forms
- Strong understanding of Excel's features, formulas, and data manipulation capabilities
- Familiarity with data analysis techniques, such as pivot tables, charts, and data visualization
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively
- Hands-on experience in developing user-friendly and intuitive Excel-based applications
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, documentation, and testing
