About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the company's annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial projections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Analyze historical data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial modeling and scenario planning capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive financial reporting system to track and analyze key performance indicators.
  • Prepare and present insightful financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive management and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and address any variances between actual and planned performance, proposing corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to support the organization's growth and profitability.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business initiatives, investments, and acquisitions to assess their financial viability and impact.
  • Manage and develop a team of financial analysts and specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CPA) is preferred
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA), are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective financial planning and reporting processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and the use of financial software, including experience with tools like Netsuite or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site as needed.
