Responsibilities
Responsible for the digital communication experience of Belk associates
Develop, maintain, and enhance communication technologies and graphics
Engage with associates to reinforce the Belk brand and culture
Lead the digital communications work, partnering closely with HR, marketing, and IT teams
Identify opportunities and develop compelling visual content for internal digital communication channels
Consistently interpret and apply the Belk brand to all communications
Develop and manage internal-facing websites using various applications and programs including SharePoint
Provide expert consultation on digital communication strategies and website design, development, testing and delivery
Support business partners with graphic assignments for a variety of projects/initiatives
Requirements
2 or 4 year college degree with focus on visual communication and/or graphic design
Experience designing compelling graphics for multiple platforms/uses required
Experience developing, managing and executing digital communication plans required
Experience leveraging social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn required
1-3 years of experience developing digital platforms and content required
Experience with e-marketing software and digital signage software preferred
Retail experience preferred
Strong skills in design principles (typography, color, layout) and software (Adobe Creative Suite)
