About the role
- AI Operations Director guiding responsible AI adoption and strategy for BECU while influencing senior leadership for operational improvements.
Responsibilities
- Guide the responsible adoption and scaling of AI across BECU as a highly visible individual contributor.
- Influence senior leaders to advance enterprise AI literacy.
- Enable teams across the organization to effectively use AI tools.
- Shape enterprise AI strategy, accelerate adoption, and deliver measurable operational improvements.
- Manage relationships with external AI vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and service expectations.
- Promote responsible AI practices and ensure alignment with emerging regulatory frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in operations, technology, process optimization, or related disciplines.
- 3 years of experience leading AI, automation, or advanced technology initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience influencing executive-level decision-making and leading enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AI ethics, regulatory considerations, and risk mitigation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, data pipelines, and AI deployment methodologies.
