About the role
- Finance Business Partner focusing on logistics cost analysis and process improvement within BD’s Integrated Supply Chain. Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance financial processes and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage financial planning cycles (budget, forecast, actuals) for logistics cost areas, with a strong focus on warehousing
- Analyze financial performance and identify key cost drivers (transport, storage, handling)
- Provide clear, data‑driven insights to support decision‑making and performance management
- Review, standardize, and improve invoice control and financial processes, reducing manual work through automation and system‑based solutions
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to simplify high‑volume data analysis
- Lead process improvement initiatives, strengthening controls and increasing efficiency
- Act as a finance partner to logistics stakeholders, supporting operational and strategic objectives
- Drive change through pilots, testing, and fact‑based recommendations in a complex matrix environment
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or similar
- Experience in finance analysis or business partnering; supply chain or logistics exposure is a strong plus
- Solid understanding of financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting)
- Strong interest in logistics cost structures (freight, warehousing, invoice validation)
- Comfortable working with large datasets and ERP/reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
- Proven ability to improve processes, automate manual activities, and challenge the status quo
- Clear communicator, able to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Able to influence stakeholders in a matrix organization with pragmatism and integrity
