About the role
- Field Service Engineer providing installation, maintenance, and repair services for medical instruments at BD. Building relationships with customers while adhering to regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of mechanical, electromechanical, and software-based instruments.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, review solutions, discuss needs, and ensure safe operational conditions.
- Actively support the sale of service contracts, collaborate with sales representatives and service team members on system configurations, upgrades, installations, and moves.
- Complete service administration activities promptly, adhering to ISO, FDA, and BD policies.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or Technical School equivalent
- OR Bachelor of Science in a related field preferred
- OR applicable equivalent military experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in diagnosing and repairing medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments is a plus.
