Responsibilities
Work on novel solutions for healthcare, enterprise, and entertainment sectors
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Build first-of-a-kind prototypes
Stay updated with academic and commercial developments
Innovate in AI-driven data & content sciences, deep learning, computer vision, etc.
Requirements
Generalist with a master in computer science engineering
PhD (or equivalent by experience) is a definite plus
Experience in Linux and Python
Minimum experience in at least one relevant specialization area of AI or Visual Computing (AI-driven data and content sciences, deep learning, GPU rendering and compute, computer vision, 3D visualization, game engines, XR, HMI, application innovation & rapid prototyping, incl. cloud & browser-native technologies)
Hands-on experience with designing and implementing (visual) applications, incl. algorithmic pipelines
Preferred, one or more of: Hands-on background in machine learning with 2+ years of experience in training and using deep learning NNs and/or neural radiance fields and/or LLMs or VLMs
Experience with Agentic AI (reasoning & tool use)
Data sciences (big data, data pre-processing, training, time series analytics & predictions)
Content sciences (generative AI)
Rapid prototyping: full application stack, AI in the edge and in the cloud
Has a hands-on innovation and can-do mindset
Entrepreneurial research mindset: from ideation with end-users, over iterative rapid prototyping to early-stage value proposition validation
Works thoroughly and can work independently and with great perseverance towards a result that meets the requirements and constraints, that is evaluated and documented
Is pro-active, takes initiative and shows end-to-end problem ownership
Is a loyal team player with good (English) communication skills and willing to travel on occasion.
