- FPGA Engineer involved in designing engineering projects for image processing products within IX R&D team. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Participate with the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.
- Contribute to the development of Image Processing products within the IX R&D team.
- Take responsibility for the quality completion of designated features and design suitable solutions to complex problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
- Perform rigorous testing and analysis to ensure project quality and compliance.
Requirements
- BS in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience.
- Very Large FPGA design: HDL design language experience: System Verilog preferred.
- Preferred Experience with Xilinx and or Altera design environments.
- Good coding style practices: formatting, comments, variable names, etc
- Very Large FPGA debug: Identify/Locate potential timing problems in a large FPGA design.
- Debug problems using Chip-Scope or equivalent.
- Cross discipline communication
- Simulation Modelsim experience preferred.
- Flexible test bench design that can be adapted to various scenarios encountered in the FPGA.
- Scripting Develop test scripts to assist on FPGA bring up. Experience with scripting languages like TC, Python is helpful.
