Responsibilities
Define and lead engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes
Deliver complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies
Provide technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations
Accountability for end-to-end solution design and delivery
Conduct research, design prototyping, and explore new toolsets and components for release management
Work with stakeholders to establish high-level solution needs and with architects for technical requirements
Design and implement cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS services
Ensure security and compliance in cloud deployments
Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency
Implement observability and monitoring
Enable Infrastructure as Code for automated provisioning
Design disaster recovery and backup strategies
Requirements
10+ years’ experience in compliance with industry standards and regulations
Collaborating with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and develop solutions
Optimizing existing cloud infrastructures for performance and cost-efficiency
Hands-on experience deploying applications on AWS cloud using native services
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with AWS services
Ability to design secure and compliant cloud architectures
Proven experience in optimizing cloud infrastructure
Providing technical leadership and mentoring to team members
Recent experience in distributed data systems using Java, Oracle SQL, and Python
Experience using Java/J2EE technologies to develop scalable applications
Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ
Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers
Strong understanding of software development, testing, deployment, and support
