About the role
- Market Executive driving tax credit equity originations and portfolio development for affordable housing at Bank of America. Leading multi-year CRA strategy and building high-performing teams across regions.
Responsibilities
- Set multi-year CRA cycle strategy for Indirect LIHTC, HTC, and NMTC platforms
- Build and lead a high-performing national team
- Maintain market leadership as a proprietary fund tax credit equity investor
- Partner with CDB regions to align strategy and production goals across markets
- Source LIHTC via syndication partners and direct HTC and NMTC transactions
- Oversee and support structuring and underwriting of indirect LIHTC, HTC, and NMTCs
- Develop pipeline across affordable housing, adaptive reuse/historic preservation, and community facility projects
- Cultivate strategic relationships with CDFIs, syndicators, and institutional investors
- Oversee underwriting for Indirect LIHTC equity and debt facilities, HTC equity, and NMTC financings
- Lead Indirect LIHTC fund formation, investor relations, and syndication strategies
- Establish AMI deal targets, job creation, and community facility outcomes
- Ensure strong communication with regions and leadership
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of progressive leadership in LIHTC, HTC, and NMTC programs
- Proven track record in origination, structuring, underwriting, and portfolio management
- Deep knowledge of tax credit regulations, partnership tax, and market dynamics
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and closing equity transactions with syndicators, CDFIs, and/or public/private investors
- Strong financial modeling skills and industry credibility
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced credentials (MBA, MPA, JD, CPA) strongly preferred.
