About the role

  • Paralegal on a Litigation team managing case organization and court documentation for Ballard Spahr, a national law firm. Responsible for research, preparation of legal documents, and trial assistance in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Case Organization and Discovery.
  • Research.
  • Court Document Preparation and Filing.
  • Trial/Arbitration/Hearing/Deposition Assistance.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate and 3-5 years of law firm experience preferred.
  • Experience in foreclosure or consumer finance cases a plus.
  • Must have knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures and filing requirements.
  • Proficiency with document management software, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe is required.
  • Knowledge of electronic discovery (Relativity) and docketing software (Court Alert) is highly desirable.
