Requirements
- Degree in a relevant subject
- Extensive radioactive waste management qualifications and/or experience
- Applied understanding of radioactive waste management, including characterisation, processing, sentencing, packaging and transport.
- Extensive knowledge of environmental legislation in the UK nuclear industry.
- Ability to determine and apply Best Available Techniques (BAT) with robust justification.
- High levels of numeracy and IT proficiency, including data interpretation and spreadsheet development.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Must achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
