Responsibilities
Deliver technical activities relating to nuclear waste management and strategy through the application of process, domain knowledge, and experience.
Providing technical direction and resolving complex nuclear waste issues.
Compiling technical reports and delivering presentations to stakeholders.
Coaching and mentoring colleagues to develop capability within the team.
Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and customers.
Driving business awareness and contributing to consultancy growth plans.
Requirements
Extensive experience within the nuclear industry, including:
Decommissioning planning and implementation.
Integrated waste management strategies and waste characterisation.
Environmental planning, permitting, and compliance.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Proven leadership and people management experience.
Ability to produce and peer-review technical guidance and standards.
Consultancy experience with a track record of delivering strategic projects.
Degree in Engineering or Science.
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or Scientist status.
Additional certifications in waste management or nuclear safety (advantageous).
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
